Founded in 1946, Wrightbus has continually been at the forefront of public transport. From its factory in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, Wrightbus has sent buses all over the world – from Germany to Singapore and from Hong Kong to Australia.

Among some landmark firsts, Wrightbus launched the world’s first hydrogen double-decker, introduced the now-famous ‘Boris’ bus to London after the Olympics in 2012 and developed the most efficient EV buses on the market.

With 2,500 employees, the company continues to expand and in 2024 was named the fastest growing bus manufacturer in the UK and Europe.
